Retailing forSGD2495, it’s definitely suitable for ladies who want a tote that’s roomy and wide but not all tall. Lightweight, with 3 separate compartments (1 zipped), it’s a great casual weekend bag.

The Burberry Prorsum Vintage House Check Hobo is also here, but only the smaller one (and not the one I personally tried out) is here. Retailing for SGD2195, it’s great for those who are vertically challenged.

Also available now, the Burberry Prorsum Studded House Check Sling Bag (SGD1695), Mr Bailey’s ode to studs done tastefully. Great with tight jeans and a white tee, it’s the perfect grab-and-go handbag though in my personal opinion a tad overpriced. Check them all out at Burberry ION Orchard and Paragon.

First impression? Proenza Schouler. No, I am not accusing anyone of plagarism, I just find it remarkably similar to the clutch that I’m still so obsessed over. Not an exact copy, but if I placed both the Burberry Prorsum Armour Stud Sling Bag (shown above) and Proenza Schouler clutch side by side almost anyone would assume they were the same collection. In other words, a good thing; since this just means that Mr Bailey is getting more and more sophisticated.

Another milestone I’d like to highlight here and now is the fact that you can pre-order all the runway pieces now, with delivery in 6 to 8 weeks. It is literally getting it hot off the runway, before everyone else picks them up at the store. Priced at GBP995, it also comes in Mustard besides the one in Tan shown above.

And for those who have been living under a rock all this while, that’s Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, totally rocking the Burberry Prorsum Armour Stud Sling Bag. Which brings to mind this popular saying; ‘Behind every successful man, there is a woman’.

Indeed.

Priced at GBP8000 (yes, I did not add in another zero by mistake), theBurberry Prorsum Alligator Sling Bag is another one of my personal favourites. Adorned with dome-shaped nail heads and a simple brass buckle clasp, it measures 39 cm by 18 cm. As with all the bags featured in this post, they all come with double straps, of which one is removable.

Another gorgeous sling bag, this time the Burberry Prorsum Plissé Python Sling Bag. For the uninitiated, the term plissé simply refers to the material being puckered, ruched or folded and in this case, this treatment is applied to the exotic python skin. Retailing for GBP1995, it comes in 3 colours; luscious Burgundy, stately Uniform Blue, and classic Tobacco (shown above).

The Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Burberry Prorsum runway show was awash with celebrities, filled with high-profile actresses from Hollywood. And while last season they had minor celebrities like Maggie Cheung (big in Asia nonetheless) and Freida Pinto (most famous for her only acting role to date in Slumdog Millionaire), this season Burberry spared no expense.

The star-studded list included Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart, Claire Danes and Mary-Kate Olsen. My favourite of the night? Kate Hudson hands down, who turned up in a gorgeous short number from Burberry Prorsum. The colour just looks great on her don’t you think?

Next, we’ve got Kristen Stewart who seriously has to stop emoing like she’s still on the set of Twilight. Or New Moon. Girl, you’re dressed in Burberry Prorsum. Can smile please? Then again, it could be just she was just really upset in her outfit which in my opinion is just too sheer on the top and too shiny at the bottom.

Claire Danes. Somehow something went really wrong and I would like to leave you with this quote from Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.

‘I asked for clean, athletic, smiling. She sent me dirty, tired and paunchy‘.
