This shoulder style might be mom-ish but the material is definitely unique and modern - it's cellophane! They are calling it "foil" because it's metallic but this is not the kitchen foil you bake potatoes with. It's more like candy wrapper which is then woven in with water snake to create a spectacularly light and never before seen material. As with all Bottega, the material takes center stage since their styles are classic and minimalistic. It is seriously high-tech, I think this is what NASA used to make the lunar module with.
